Paroles, Protection, Deferred Action
In certain instances you, your family, friends and even neighbors, may not qualify for a Green Card. That does not mean that you need to be un-documented or “illegal”. There are options to help you work legally, get a driver’s license, open a bank account, provide for your family, etc. If you feel you or someone you know is in this category and you are a: Cuban, Haitian, Liberian, Salvadorian, Guinean, Hondurans, Nicaraguan, Somalian, Sudanese, South Sudanese, Syrian or even from Sierra Leone.
If your child was brought to the U.S. “illegally” they may qualify for Deferred Action. Deferred Action, is a limited immigration benefit that can provide a valid government identification, protection status and employment authorization. It will also help your child integrate themselves publicly within society.
Deferred Action for Parents of U.S. Citizens and Green Card holders. This program is designed to help undocumented parents of U.S. Citizens and Green Card holders. Once granted Deferred Action (limited immigration benefit), parents will be provide employment authorization, and protection status as well.
Green Card Renewal or Replacement
Green cards are not permanent, they must be renewed and if lost, stolen or mutilated they must be replaced. This task can be difficult, and time consuming. If you have been arrested and/or convicted of any crime or have abandoned your residency, then this may and likely will make the situation a little scarier. Traveling outside the U.S.?
Are you sure, that you can legally do it, and will be allowed to re-enter the U.S.? There are many reasons why the immigration may not allow you to re-enter. Stop by our offices or call us to see if you can qualify for permission. Then travel with peace of mind.
